Rutland County has a Running Club
The Marble Valley Runners

  Club News

Organized last summer, the Marble Valley Runners have become a central part of the Rutland physical activity community.  We host races, organize community group runs, hold potluck dinners at our meetings, and publicize training schedules for 5k and 10k races.  We have a marathon training group that runs every Sunday morning.  We were a featured activity in the Rutland First Night celebration for 2006; and look to have a great time in 2007.  We lead the 2006 Annual Rutland Halloween parade with a costumed group of officers and members.  Our group has a lot of fun, and we would like you to join us;  we maintain an "all inclusive" philosophy and welcome runners of all ages and abilities.  MVR is affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America, and the United States Track and Field.  Visit our website often for updates.
