5th Annual Runner’s Rally
5K Trail Run/Walk
September 18, 2010 (Saturday)

The Marble Valley Runners are proud to present the Fifth Annual Runners' Rally. We are going to limit the race to 75 runners; it's a safety thing, and a bit of a trial to see how many runners the course can handle. The first 20 runners get a t-shirt with their paid registration so get registered as soon as possible.
Mail-in registration applications must be postmarked by August 30th. Registrations postmarked after this date will be returned, and same-day registration fee applies.
Please mail registration forms to:

13-20; 21-40; 41-49; 50 and above.
Course Description
The course is well marked with cones and arrows and there are plenty of park trail signs to guide you back to the trail head should you manage to stray off the course. Runners of all abilities are welcome. We have people who try to sprint the whole way and folks that walk most of the course. The atmosphere is very laid back and everyone is there to get out and have a good time.
Depending on what kind of construction is going on in the parking lot, the start may be somewhat altered to meet the given conditions.
This year's course starts beside the parking lot, goes across the boardwalk (1), Escalator->(9), Furlough->(18), Evergreen->(20), Watkins->(21), Sore Elbow->(Short cut), Shortcut->(Jersey Turnpike), Jersey Turnpike->(22b), Strong Angel->(34), Door Knob->(30), Salamander->(26a), Droopy Muffin->(26), Upper Ledges->(24), Tim’s Vista->(16), Birches->(15), Pond Road->(10), (9), Escalator->(1), and back across the Boardwalk to finish by the parking lot. Note: Intersection numbers are in ().
Running on this section of the Pond Road is delightful.
Pine Hill Park starts are relaxed and social.
Pine Hill Park hosts a network of well marked trails.
